About Compress PNG
PNG is lossless, so it can't simply be saved at lower quality like a JPG. Instead this tool reduces the number of colours in a smart way (like TinyPNG) and stores the image more efficiently. Screenshots and graphics usually shrink by 50–80% and look the same.
Transparency is kept. If your PNG is a photo, Compress JPEG or converting to WebP gives far smaller files.
