AVIF to TIFF Converter
Turn AVIF files into TIFF in seconds. Everything happens on your device: nothing is uploaded, and there's no limit.
Your images are processed in this browser tab and never uploaded.
Why convert AVIF to TIFF?
AVIF is new, so many apps and older devices can't open it yet.
Print shops, scanners and professional software expect TIFF for lossless, print-ready images.
What to expect
- The TIFF is saved uncompressed for maximum compatibility with print shops and professional software.
- Converting to TIFF keeps every pixel of your AVIF, but it can't restore detail that AVIF compression already removed.

About the formats
AVIF (AV1 Image File Format, 2019) is the newest major image format, based on the AV1 video codec. It usually produces the smallest files of all, often half the size of JPG, with transparency and HDR support.
TIFF (Tagged Image File Format, 1986) is a high-quality format used in printing, scanning and professional photography. It stores images without quality loss and can hold several pages in one file. TIF and TIFF are the same format with a different file extension.

How do I convert AVIF to TIFF?

Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It works in Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge on phones, tablets and computers. Nothing to install.
