TIFF to PSD Converter
Turn TIFF (TIF) files into PSD in seconds. Everything happens on your device: nothing is uploaded, and there's no limit.
Your images are processed in this browser tab and never uploaded.
Why convert TIFF to PSD?
TIFF files are large and most websites and phones can't display them.
A PSD opens straight into Photoshop and other editors as a layer you can keep working on.
What to expect
- Multi-page TIFFs: the first page is converted.
- The image is saved as a one-layer Photoshop document that opens in Photoshop, Photopea, GIMP and Affinity Photo.

About the formats
TIFF (Tagged Image File Format, 1986) is a high-quality format used in printing, scanning and professional photography. It stores images without quality loss and can hold several pages in one file. TIF and TIFF are the same format with a different file extension.
PSD (Adobe Photoshop Document, 1990) is Photoshop's own working format. It keeps layers, masks and editing data, which makes files large and only readable in software that understands Photoshop documents.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert TIFF to PSD?
Drop your TIFF files into the box above (or tap Select files), check the options, then press Convert. Each PSD downloads on its own, or you can download them all as one ZIP file.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser on your own device. Your TIFF files are never sent to a server, so they stay private, and it works even on a slow connection once the page has loaded.
Is there a limit on how many TIFF files I can convert?
No. Convert as many as you like, for free, without signing up. Very large batches are processed one after another so your browser stays responsive.
Will I lose quality converting to PSD?
No. PSD is lossless, so the converted image keeps every pixel of the original.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It works in Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge on phones, tablets and computers. Nothing to install.
