Why convert WebP to SVG?

Many apps, print services and older programs still don't accept WebP.

A vector SVG scales to any size without blur, which is what designers, web developers and cutting machines (Cricut, laser cutters) need.

What to expect

  • Your WebP is traced into real vector shapes, not just wrapped in an SVG. This works best for logos, icons and illustrations; photos turn into large, poster-like SVGs.

About the formats

WebP (WebP, 2010) is Google's modern web format. It makes files roughly 25–35% smaller than JPG or PNG at the same visual quality and supports both transparency and animation.

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics, 2001) is a vector format. Instead of pixels it describes shapes, so it stays perfectly sharp at any size. It's the standard for logos and icons on the web.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert WebP to SVG?

Drop your WebP files into the box above (or tap Select files), check the options, then press Convert. Each SVG downloads on its own, or you can download them all as one ZIP file.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser on your own device. Your WebP files are never sent to a server, so they stay private, and it works even on a slow connection once the page has loaded.

Is there a limit on how many WebP files I can convert?

No. Convert as many as you like, for free, without signing up. Very large batches are processed one after another so your browser stays responsive.

Will the SVG be a real vector?

Yes. The image is traced into vector paths with colour regions, so it scales cleanly and can be edited in Illustrator, Inkscape or Figma. Choose the Detail setting to balance accuracy and file size: “Simple” works best for logos.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. It works in Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge on phones, tablets and computers. Nothing to install.
